READY MADE #54 (Pompea stockings).
The image is fine, but the writing is a little uninhibited.
The interesting points are: Left part of the writing; left and right part of the writing; left and right part of the image; image, and writing under of it.
The left part of the writing founds on an identity by hidden phonetic similarity (In. calzato ---> Incazzato / with stockings --> with great anger), and the dots enhance this hidden dirty word, which deny the claimed meaning of the word "in...calzato" which means " pursued", and not "with stockings." So we have an emotional meaning that is going "much angry".
Between the left and the right part of the writing there is again an identity by phonetic similarity with the common phonemes of "calzato" / wearing stockings. The image proposes instead a positive opposition, irritant gotten off stocking to the left vs tidy stocking to the right. By a cause and effect relationship, the following reading affirms that the Pompea stockings do not give any stress, and so they do not produce the rage following a gotten off stocking.
Surely an effective advertisement.
