This is a little confused message, where the writing at once under the image, on one hand seems denying the same image ( opposition: There is not any knot) and on the other hand it evokes a much disagreeable feeling, for anyone who has suffered from it (il nodo alla gola = the lump in the throat of some depressions: identity by semantic similarity).
The line at the page foot reconstructs the exact meaning, but it is not sure that anybody reads it.
Moreover, it is not said that it succeeds to erase the negative emotional impression, which is more lasting, as it happens for all negative emotions.
