READY MADE #22 (An
OPEL car)
An advertising with two readings, either
one recognizes the horse of the chess
or he does not recognize it.
In the first case it is an image with a
text within, positioned over the car, with a question: Do you dream a car that helps you to
overcome all situations?
The answer is, evidently, in the image of
that car, and it is reaffirmed in the
first line at the foot of the page. We are building your car. Two
identities by spatial contiguity, on of them in an image form (the car ).
If
instead one recognizes the piece of the horse, magnified, in the background, in
tall to the left (The beginning point of reading ), knowing that it is the
piece that it may move in all
directions, with the writing over the car there comes out a hidden equation:
The horse of chess = The OPEL car,
what works as an identity by similarity. The
remaining goes as above.
It is a functional advertising with
persuading ability.
